Vodafone India Brings Super Wi-Fi Network to Enterprises

Faced up with Reliance Jio, a front runner who introduced extremely competitive offers, Vodafone India is now looking into shifting its focus towards small, medium and large enterprises or corporates in order to fortify its enterprise service portfolio further. The company is now offering Wi-Fi network services to businesses for enhancing their experience and offering secure wireless connectivity.

Vodafone Wi-Fi networks for Enterprises

According to a recently released statement by Vodafone Business Services, the rolling out of Vodafone SuperWi-Fi network services will be the first time such a service will be provided by an Indian telecom operator. The company is currently centered on the idea of tying up with start-ups and micro finance. They also mentioned that the vertical is growing at twice the rate of the industry.

Super Wi-Fi consist of services including unified, high-speed wireless network access for employees, guests and customers across their sites and locations with 24×7 remote monitoring and management.

Vodafone Business Services

An enterprise arm of Vodafone India, Vodafone Business services provides telecommunication services in mobile and fixed line forms. In the second half of FY17, this business comprised of 16.4% of Vodafone India’s revenues. The company was having nearly 7.5 million mobile corporate customers by March 31, 2016.
